Laura earned her M. Ed. in Secondary Guidance and Counseling Services from Clemson University and her B.S. Ed. from George Mason University, where she played D-1 Soccer. Laura serves on the Admissions Advisory Board at Drexel University, writes a monthly college planning column for The Uptight Suburbanite Magazine, and maintains her college blog, “Blanche Tour”.  Laura is a member of the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia and a member of the North Hills Country Club Women’s Golf Team, where she also serves on the Membership Committee.  Laura resides in Abington Township, PA. with her husband Scott and their two children.

 

During the year, Laura spends 20% of her time visiting colleges, meeting with college reps, and staying current in the field through her participation in national conferences, 

webinars and professional networks. Laura has visited over 100 college campuses in the past two years and regularly participates on college tours around the country. By learning what makes each school unique, she can assist students in finding their best-fit colleges. Laura has an extensive college blog on Tumblr where she has highlighted colleges across the country that she has visited and detailed their unique qualities and academic programs.
