It's been some time since my last dive, can I take the advanced open water course?
If you feel your diving skills are a bit "rusty", we recommend you take the scuba refresher, a 1 pool session to review diving basic skills.

I've just completed my open water diver certification, should I wait some time before I take the advanced open water course?
There is no need to wait prior to taking the advanced open water. Once you're open water certified you can directly take the advanced open water course.
There was so much studying for the open water course... will I have to study that much for the advanced open water course?
​No, there is very limited study. The advanced open water course is a practical training where we primarily focus on experiencing new diving conditions & environments.

Why is the dive gear rental not included in the course price?
Many advanced open water students own some of the basic dive gears. Besides, we offer attractive discounts on dive gear purchases to our students. So buying vs. renting becomes a personal choice!
Can I take the Nitrox specialty while taking the advanced open water course?
Yes, you can combine the Nitrox specialty with the advanced open water course.
