If you are considering having some violin lesson for yourself or your kids, I can deliver private instruction for beginners up to advanced students. I can provide specific instruction like the renowned Suzuki Method. I have been teaching for almost ten years and have a Master’s degree in the Pedagogy of Violin. I will be able to teach musicality and technique so as to improve your or your child’s quality of playing and enjoyment of the instrument. Lesson lengths may vary depending on the age, but the range is 20 to 90 minutes in length. The cost also varies depending on the location and the length of the lessons. Performing in special events like weddings and private parties is available. I reside in the Houston area but will travel. I have performed in wedding ceremonies, receptions, funerals, proposal ceremonies, and cocktail parties. Quotes vary depending the event length, location, and number of musicians requested. I am available for special recitals for private events and also university performances. I have been playing in different countries, solo and in chamber groups. The recitals are generally centered on classical standard music repertoire and new compositions, but special requests are also available. If you are interested in bringing me to perform at your school and possibly have me teach some master classes, please contact me with your questions and possible dates. Availability depends on how much advance notice you can provide.
I am a member of the Continent String Quartet. The quartet provides music for special events in the Houston area - weddings, receptions, birthdays, dinners and more. The variety of music comes from Classical, Pop, Latin, and other forms. The Quartet is composed of two violins, one viola and one cello. If you are looking for a smaller group, trio or duet are also available. The members of the quartet are qualified degreed musicians and are very professional.
